Mary was just 2 years old and her parents already believed her life was cursed.  Life was difficult enough for a healthy child.  For a disabled child it was impossible.  She would not be able to go to school, work with her mother or learn a skill.  She would be a burdent to her parents and to her community.

The Christian Blind Mission has been able to  provide the complete year-long treatment to cure Mary thanks to the Canadian who sponsored her treatment!  Mary has received surgery, physiotherapy, and specific treatment to help heal her legs and now Mary can walk!
